Your files

Every converter on this site runs as JavaScript inside your browser tab. When you drop a file in, it is read directly from your disk into the browser’s memory, converted there, and returned to you as a download or a print preview. There is no upload step anywhere in the code. You can verify this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, watch the network tab while converting — after the page itself loads, no requests carry your data. We could not read your files if we wanted to; they are never sent.

Your location

The print-shop finder can centre map searches near you two ways: you type a town or postal code (which goes no further than your own browser — it is pasted into a search URL when you click), or you press “Use my location” and your browser asks your permission to share coordinates with the page. Those coordinates are used only to build the map links you click, are never stored, logged or transmitted to us, and are forgotten the moment you leave the page.

Accounts & cookies

FileFinery has no accounts, no sign-up and no server-side session. The site sets no cookies of its own. Your conversion settings live only in the page you’re looking at.

Advertising

This site is free because of advertising. Ad slots are reserved along the margins of each page. When advertising is active, the ad provider (Google AdSense at launch) may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads, governed by Google’s own policies. If this ever changes — different provider, additional analytics — this page will say so before it happens.
